Our Story
The J. Leperes School was founded in 2013 by Mr. and Mrs. Julius K. Leperes with the aim of addressing the educational needs of the Sultan Hamud community in Kajiado County, Kenya. Their goal was to nurture young scholars into responsible future leaders, prioritizing holistic development alongside academic excellence. Since its establishment, the school has experienced remarkable growth, now serving over 500 students from the local community and beyond. This expansion reflects its growing influence and unwavering commitment to educational excellence in the region. In 2017, when the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) replaced the previous 8-4-4 system, the school quickly adapted to this progressive approach. CBC emphasizes practical skills and competencies that equip students for real-world challenges. Today, the school offers programs from Early Childhood Education (ECDE) to Junior Secondary School, demonstrating its dedication to remaining at the forefront of educational advancements. The J. Leperes School continues to stand as a testament to the transformative power of education, preparing students not only for academic achievement but also for leadership roles in an ever-evolving world.
